Refer a Friend

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

The Refer a Friend Scheme is open to new, existing and previous clients of RF Mortgage Solutions aged 18 or over.


2. Qualifying Referral

A qualifying referral is someone who:


  • Has not previously contacted RF Mortgage Solutions regarding their mortgage.
  • Has not received mortgage advice from RF Mortgage Solutions within the previous 12 months.
  • Is referred before making their initial enquiry.
  • Proceeds with a residential or buy to let purchase mortgage or remortgage arranged through RF Mortgage Solutions.


3. Reward

The referrer will receive £100 for each qualifying referral that successfully completes a residential or buy to let purchase mortgage or remortgage arranged through RF Mortgage Solutions.


The referral reward does not apply to:


  • Product Transfers
  • Rate Switches
  • Further Advances
  • Additional Borrowing
  • Protection policies
  • Bridging Finance
  • Any other mortgage or finance product not specifically listed as a qualifying referral.


4. When the Reward is Paid

The £100 referral reward will only become payable once:


  • the referred client's mortgage has legally completed; and
  • RF Mortgage Solutions has received its procuration fee or commission from the lender.


Payment will normally be made within 30 days of both of these conditions being met.


5. Referral Identification

The referred client must tell RF Mortgage Solutions who referred them before, or at, their first appointment.


6. Privacy

Please ensure you have the person's permission before providing their contact details.  Alternatively, they can contact RF Mortgage Solutions directly and quote your name.


7. Non-Qualifying Referrals

A reward will not be paid if:


  • the referred person is already an existing client;
  • the referred person has already made an enquiry with RF Mortgage Solutions;
  • the mortgage application is withdrawn, declined or does not complete;
  • RF Mortgage Solutions does not receive payment from the lender.


8. Tax

Any personal tax liability arising from the referral reward remains the responsibility of the recipient.


9. Changes to the Scheme

RF Mortgage Solutions reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Refer a Friend Scheme at any time.  Any qualifying referrals already submitted before any change or withdrawal will continue to be assessed under these Terms & Conditions.


10. General

The decision of RF Mortgage Solutions regarding eligibility for any referral reward is final.


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
